Mahjong has never looked like this in your home. Until now.
A play on mise en scène — the art of arranging everything within a space — because mahjong should be something we curate and set, not just play.
As an award-winning interior designer, I've spent my career believing that every object in a home has a role to play. The lamp on the side table. The books stacked on the shelf. The florals on the holiday table. Each selection is intentional, layered together to tell a design story and reflect a life beautifully lived.
My mahjong set was the one thing I couldn't get right.
I wanted tiles that coordinated with my home's aesthetic. Pieces that felt as considered as everything else on my coffee table, my bookshelf, my nightstand. A set I was proud to bring out when guests arrived, not just for game night, but because it belonged.
That set didn't exist. So I created it.
A Note from the Founder“You have spent years building a home that reflects who you are. Your mahjong set should be no different.”
Mise en Mahjong was born from the belief that the mahjong table deserves the same thoughtfulness as every other moment we design within the home. From layered tablescapes to curated bookshelves, we bring intention to every corner of a space, and the game table is no different.
We want you to feel the same sense of pride inviting guests to play as you do welcoming them to a cocktail party. Because the way a home looks and feels is never incidental. It is always a reflection of who you are.
Each Mise en Mahjong set is designed as a design object first, one that lives beautifully in your home, coordinates with your aesthetic, and honors the tradition of American mahjong. Thoughtfully paired, intentionally curated, and made to be displayed as proudly as it is played.
