Product Care

Caring for your pieces.

A note from me about how these are made, and how to keep them looking right.

How They're Made

Every piece is designed in-house and put through several rounds of sampling before we approve a single one for production. We have a team on the ground overseas inspecting every order before it leaves the factory. By the time something ships to you, it has been through more eyes and more hands than I can count.

That process is why these can live on a shelf instead of in a closet. It's also why a few small habits will keep them looking exactly the way they did the day they arrived.

Acrylic

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Cotton or microfiber, nothing abrasive. If something needs more than a dry wipe, use a slightly damp cloth with a drop of mild soap, then dry immediately.

Avoid

Resin

Wipe gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. If something needs more than a dry wipe, use a slightly damp cloth, then let air dry completely. Store tiles securely in the provided case when not in use. The opaque case provides a 100% effective barrier against prolonged UV damage.

Avoid

Wood

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Don't soak, don't submerge, don't leave water sitting on the surface.

Avoid

Vegan Leather

Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Spot-clean spills as soon as you notice them.

Avoid

Delicate Fabric

Spot-clean only, with cool water and a small amount of mild detergent. Air-dry flat. If a care label is sewn in, the label takes precedence over what's written here.

If Something Goes Wrong

If a piece develops a flaw that doesn't trace back to use, please write to customer care hello@miseenmahjong.com with a photo. We design and sample these to last, and on the rare occasion something doesn't, we want to know about it.
